Quynh Huong Nguyen
Climate Finance Manager
Quynh Nguyen is responsible for expanding clean energy advisory services in the Asia - Pacific region, leveraging a profound understanding of the climate finance policy landscape and the financing needs of clean energy project developers and sponsors.
With over five years of experience in project management for sustainable finance, including climate finance and the digital economy in Asia and the Pacific region at UNESCAP, Quynh has actively contributed to raising awareness and capacity-building for climate finance and green investment in partnership with countries across the Asia-Pacific region. Quynh has successfully implemented projects related to the digital transformation policies of Asia-Pacific countries, particularly focusing on Central Bank Digital Currency development in the Maldives. Throughout her experiences, Quynh have demonstrated strong skill set in collaborating with diverse partner institutions, including governments, private sectors, NGOs across the Asian region.

Quynh is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in International Relations at Ritsumeikan University, Japan, supported by the Monbukagakusho scholarship from the Japanese government. She previously obtained a Master’s degree in International Relations from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia, with scholarship from the Indonesian government.
Fluent in Vietnamese, English, and Indonesian, Quynh possess strong language skills that enhance her ability to engage in effective communication across diverse contexts.
