New Team Member: Richard 'Dick' Edwards, Senior Partner

Asia Clean Energy Partners is pleased to announce that Richard 'Dick' Edwards has joined our firm as Senior Partner. Dick brings a wealth of experience in international development, energy, and the environment. He has 35 years of experience as a consultant, Foreign Service Officer, and NGO leader specializing in the design, implementation, and evaluation of major international development programs in marine aquaculture and conservation, clean energy, power sector reform, green buildings, climate change, disaster risk reduction, natural resources management, and conservation finance.

Dick is highly skilled in leading complex, multi-disciplinary teams in the public and private sectors to address energy and environmental challenges worldwide. Dick is a great addition to ACE Partners. He will lead several client engagements and support network development, as well as help build the skills and capacity of our growing team.

Dick's expertise includes energy efficiency, renewable energy, clean energy finance, program design and management, business development and technical writing, donor coordination, and public diplomacy. His overseas experience includes short-term assignments in over 30 developing countries and long-term residency in the Philippines (8 years), Papua New Guinea, Fiji, and other Pacific Islands (2 years), South Asia (8.5 years), and five years in North Africa (Morocco and Egypt).
